Ken accepting an award from the French Consul General
This years Concours des Vins du Victoria, run by the Victorian French Chamber of Commerce, has brought some accolade to Nicholson River Winery.
Our 2005 Nicholson River Chardonnay was a awarded a Gold medal in the Open Class Chardonnay category, while the 2004 Syrah was awarded a Bronze medal in the Open Class Shiraz category.
Ken was impressed by the judging this year - there was a mature approach, the medal winning wines were richly flavoured but of divergent styles. The top wines had an enviable elegance.
