Nicholson River Wines are grown, made and bottled on our 20ha vineyard in stunning East Gippsland, 'the Riviera' of Victoria.
The Nicholson River wine making process begins with each bunch of grapes, grown over a long period, nourished by the gravelly limestone soils. The grapes are hand-picked, making sure that only the finest are selected. The richly concentrated flavours that develop during fermentation and ageing, offer a complexity and depth most often found in European wines.
Inspired by traditional techniques of wine production, Nicholson River produces new wines with a unique Australian character.
Sparkling Wines (1)
Bottle-fermented and disgorged in the traditional manner. Full of flavour and a delightful mouthfeel.
Dry White Wines (5)
Complexity, body and approachability characterise our white wines.
Red Wines (6)
We're putting flavour back in to Australian Reds! Berries, spice and soft tannins characterise our selection of red wines.
Sweet White Wines (2)
Made in the European style. Rich and luscious, but with a dry finish.
Fortified Wines (1)
Between a port and sherry in style. Enjoy chilled as an aperitif or after dinner.
Reserve (1)
Wines of limited availability. Contact the winery for more of our earlier vintages of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah.
